A: Fishing is rain or shine, fish are always wet!

A: If a tropical system, Tropical Storm or Hurricane, is going to directly impact the Alabama Gulf Coast then accomidations will be made by either altering dates or canceling rental.

A: A minimum if 3 days(72 hours) is required to rent. You can rent for less than 3 days but will be charged for 3 days. An example time frame of the 3 days(72 hours) would be gear dropped off at 11AM Monday andf then picked up at 11AM Thursday.

A: Rental gear is brought right to you! When you reserve the rental gear you will need to provide an address and phone number so we can arrange a delivery time. Most deliveries and pick ups will be between 10AM and 1PM but may vary.

A: No security deposit is required to rent the gear but payment is due at the time you reserve your gear. If any items are lost, stolen or damaged you are responsible for their replacement costs.

Cash is not accepted for renting gear, by paying the rental fee online you are also accepting all terms and conditions which can not be verified by paying cash. Cash is accepted for Guided Surf Fishing Trips.

A: G2 Coastal understand life happens and sometimes plans have to change. Cancellations 14 days or more before the first day of rental will be refunded minus a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations 13 days or less before the first day of rental will be refunded minus a $100 cancellation fee.

If G2 Coastal has to cancel for any reason at anytime a complete refund will be given.

A: If the sand spike and reel drag are set properly a fish will not be able to pull the gear into the water. You will be shown how to properly insert sand spike and adjust drag upon delivery. The Renter will be responsible for the cost of any lost, stolen, or damaged gear.

A: No worries, G2 Coastal has plenty of videos on Youtube that can help you out and feel free to ask questions any time!

A: A pack of Fishgum Bait is provided with your rental gear, I recommend using a piece about the size of a quarter. I also recommend using fresh dead shrimp available at any seafood market and most tackle shops. Cut your fresh dead shrimp into thumbnail size pieces.

RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All rented gear is the property of G2 Coastal. No exchange between Customer (Renter) and G2 Coastal, either express or implied, should be considered a sales transaction. All gear is rented for the duration of the contract period and must be returned on or before the expiry of this period.

Renter agrees to rinse off the gear with fresh water every day (or night) after use. Rods and reels must be rinsed daily in order to remain in good working order. Renter accepts that it is their responsibility to ensure all gear is rinsed with fresh water daily during the rental period.

If the gear is not rinsed, a $50 cleaning charge (per set up) will apply.

A fishing license is required for most people who fish in Alabama. Though licenses are required by the state of Alabama, the choice to obtain a license or not is up to the Renter(s). The Fish & Game wardens regularly issue citations to those caught fishing without a license; Renter acknowledges that the onus of responsibility for obtaining a license lies solely with Renter(s). G2 Coastal is not responsible for any fines, penalties or citations incurred by Renter(s) due to Renter(s) not having an appropriate fishing license. In extreme cases, Fish & Game Wardens have been known to confiscate fishing gear from those fishing illegally without a license. In such circumstances, Renter will be liable for the full replacement cost of confiscated gear.

G2 Coastal does not place a security deposit hold on the Renter’s credit card, however G2 Coastal reserves the right to charge Renter’s credit card the full replacement cost amount for any gear not returned or returned in a damaged condition. Renter(s) are responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged gear in the following amounts:

• $75 per rod

• $75 per reel

• $5 per 5gal bucket

• $5 per pair of pliers

• $10 per sand spike

Renter agrees to meet the G2 Coastal representative at the time and place agreed to in order to receive the gear and again upon conclusion of the rental period in order to return the gear. G2 Coastal will provide a cell phone number for our pickup and drop off representative. It is the Renter’s responsibility to communicate with their G2 Coastal representative, should the agreed upon location or time of gear return change. Unless otherwise agreed to prior to the rental period, G2 Coastal will drop off the gear between 10-1 PM Central Time, the first day of the rental period. Pick up time is also between 10-1 PM Central on the last day of the rental period.

At time of drop off, the G2 Coastal representative will confirm with Renter that all gear is present and provided. Renter is required to e-sign a web form to acknowledge receipt of all gear in good condition and working order.At time of pick up, the G2 Coastal representative will confirm with Renter that all gear is returned in good condition and working order.

Renter must present ID at time of drop off and ID must match the name on the credit card used to rent the gear. Should G2 Coastal be unable to collect any rented gear or if any gear is damaged AND G2 Coastal is unable to charge the Renter’s credit card for the above stated replacement costs, G2 Coastal will pursue legal remedies to recoup the value of the gear, as well as any associated court or other legal costs.

Renter agrees to indemnify G2 Coastal from all liability arising from the use of G2 Coastal’s gear.

All sections of this agreement are to be taken together as a joint agreement. However, each part of the agreement is separable and separately enforceable.

This agreement is governed by the State of Alabama, and the County of Baldwin. By continuing with the rental transaction, Renter implicitly agrees to all terms contained herein.
